Your first visit to Paws n Klaws: a Meet & Greet guide

Choosing dog care is easier when you can see where your dog will spend their time and meet the people caring for them. Paws n Klaws is a 5-star licensed dog day care and dog hotel on Limington Road near Yeovil, Somerset, with a 3-acre countryside site. A free Meet & Greet is the first step for new care clients.

Start with a free Meet & Greet

Book your free Meet & Greet through our website, choose an available appointment and complete the required acknowledgements. Appointments are available Monday to Friday at 9:15am, 2:30pm and 3:15pm, with additional Friday times at 1:00pm and 1:45pm. Only one appointment can be booked at a time. Your confirmation email confirms your appointment; ongoing care remains subject to assessment and availability.

When booking, you must acknowledge our Terms and Conditions and confirm that your dog(s) are good with other dogs. We do not accept unneutered male dogs over 12 months old for day care, hotel/boarding or group walks.

Vaccinations must be up to date, including kennel cough administered at least 10 days before attendance. Email your current vaccination record to info@pawsnklaws-petservices.co.uk before the appointment or show it on arrival. We will refuse to carry out the Meet & Greet unless the record has been provided and checked before the appointment starts.

Use the visit to talk about your dog's routine, confidence around other dogs and care needs. Ask how play, supervision and rest work, and explain what helps your dog settle. The team can discuss suitability and the next steps for your chosen service.

Day care or an overnight stay?

For care while you are out during the day, explore dog day care in Yeovil. Dogs have indoor and outdoor space, supervised activity and time to rest. Regular memberships and ad-hoc or half-day options are described on the service page, with availability confirmed by the team.

For holidays or time away overnight, the dog hotel and boarding service offers individual rooms and rooms shared by dogs from the same household. Discuss your dates, your dog's usual routine and any care instructions at the Meet & Greet.

If you want to stay with your dog while they exercise, secure field hire is a separate service. Private paddocks, secure fencing and double-gate access provide space for owner-supervised play. Check the service page for the facilities and booking arrangements.

Prepare the information that helps us know your dog

Before the visit, make a note of your dog's daily routine, food, behaviour around other dogs and anything the team should know about their care. Ask which records, belongings and instructions you will need for the service you choose, and agree arrival and collection arrangements before your first booking.

If your dog is new to day care, ask about the available starter packs and how the first sessions are arranged. Avoid buying a package before you understand the current eligibility, approval and booking terms.
