Long-stay dog boarding near Yeovil: a holiday for your dog
Updated: 5 days ago
When you are planning a longer holiday, finding the right care for your dog deserves a place near the top of the list. You want them to have company, a suitable routine and somewhere they can settle while you are away.
At Paws n Klaws near Yeovil, longer boarding stays include the same social daytime care as a shorter visit. Dogs play, socialise, explore and rest throughout the day under staff supervision, with overnight accommodation when the day is done.
A social holiday with a home-from-home feel
Our social dog hotel offers a different experience from the idea of a stay spent mainly in an individual kennel. Supervised daytime company, indoor and outdoor activities and regular opportunities to rest are central to the service.
At our 5-star licensed dog hotel, the approximately three-acre site combines secure indoor and outdoor areas for activity, socialising and rest. Suitable dogs spend time in groups managed around temperament, play style, energy levels and compatibility.

Start with a Meet & Greet
All new boarding dogs need a successful, pre-booked Meet & Greet. Arrange this before relying on boarding availability for your holiday dates.
The appointment gives us time to meet your dog and discuss their experience around other dogs, their routine and any additional needs. It also gives you the chance to ask questions about a longer stay.
If your dog has never boarded before, tell us. We can discuss suitable next steps and whether an introductory visit or shorter stay would be appropriate and available.
Prepare the details that matter over a longer stay
Good preparation helps us understand how your dog is usually cared for. Before arrival:
Update your dog's Time To Pet profile with current care information.
Provide clear feeding instructions and discuss food arrangements for the full stay.
Share your contact details and a suitable emergency contact while you are away.
Check vaccination and entry requirements with the team in good time.
Discuss medication, mobility needs or other additional support before booking.
Agree what to bring and label your dog's belongings.
Our packing and handover checklist is useful when you are organising everything alongside your own luggage.
Current boarding prices and longer-stay discounts
Our standard boarding price is £59 per night, including daytime care. The current longer-stay discounts are:
10% for stays of more than 7 nights.
15% for stays of more than 21 nights.
Check the dog hotel page for current prices and ask the team to confirm the total for your exact dates and collection arrangements.
The length of a stay is only one part of choosing boarding. It is also worth looking at what the day includes, whether the social environment suits your dog and how comfortable you feel after meeting the team.
Plan drop-off and collection around your journey
Boarding drop-off is between 07:00 and 09:00. The standard nightly rate runs until the same time the following morning.
If you need extra time on collection day, collection by 12:00 is an additional £32, or collection between 16:00 and 18:00 is an additional £39. Arrange an extension in advance so it is included in your booking.
Consider your return journey when choosing a collection time. Giving the team clear plans makes the booking easier to organise and helps you understand the full cost before the stay.
Longer-stay boarding FAQs
Do dogs still get social time on a longer booking?
Yes. Supervised daytime care is part of boarding, with opportunities for play, socialising and rest throughout the stay. Individual suitability is assessed before a new dog boards.
Can two dogs from the same household stay together?
Shared overnight accommodation may be possible where appropriate. Discuss your dogs' needs and the room arrangements with the team before booking.
Is a booking request an immediate confirmation?
No. A request needs to be accepted and the required payment processed before the booking is confirmed. Check your confirmation before treating the dates as secured.
